“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” – Psalm 19:14
Of three elements within the control of every individual that go a long way to shape the outcomes of our lives comprising words, thoughts and actions, the two foremost and most crucial are considered here.
It all begins in the heart and when it’s swelled to a level of abundance, the mouth takes over in speech that could rank anywhere between noble to contemptible.
If pleasing God counts for anything to you, then efforts must constantly be made to ensure your reflections and utterances are never overboard but in line with His precepts.
Sin is not that alone which is acted out, the displeasing words and thoughts are even worse in the sight of the Lord.
If God must be your Strength and Redeemer, you must learn to come clean on these; for our actions are more often than not the end product of these two.
This is the way to go.
Be gracefully guided.
Remain blessed.
