“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” – Hebrews 6:10
There are employers of labour and there is an Employer of labour, like no other.
Gather the CEOs.
Assemble the Administrators.
Call in the governors, and presidents, while not forgetting the monarchs.
Expand this to include all known persons responsible for ensuring the well-being of the people they rule over.
Yet none among these can boast of a reward system such as that found with this One.
We get it all wrong as humans, labouring and slaving away to please one at the expense of the Other.
All for the sake of putting bread on our table, and more.
But let God be this Employer, this One, this Other, matchless to none.
Channel your efforts to serve and please Him.
Then shall you be enrolled on His payroll that will keep you on a rollercoaster ride forever.
On His payroll, there is no forgetfulness, no under-payments and no pay cuts.
Here you find no other known issue associated with earthly employers.
Not even fair play is found with Him, as good as the word may sound.
It’s purely ‘God-pay’ and ‘God-play’.
Beat that if you can!
Now it’s time to bring in your labour of love to His Kingdom.
