“But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” – 1 Samuel 16:7
Take heart and relax! There goes your first assurance.
You may not look it, not that you need to anyway.
With God anyone can be it – if you have the right heart to be it.
And the ‘it’ aspect?
Simply put, this is what we humans will regard as an exalted position.
This is synonymous with that place of accomplishment exhibited in the bestowment of power, authority, or wealth especially.
Left to man alone, many in enviable positions will never have arrived there in the first place.
Carriers of hidden gems within in the form of unique and highly sought-after talents would go undiscovered.
But think about it; Are we all not in one way or another endowed with something special from our Maker?
Thanks be to the God of all flesh and seasons, who reigns supreme in the affairs of man.
Not unto the thoughts of humans but unto the way of the Lord.
The Most High reigns supreme in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever He desires, even the basest of men (Daniel 4:17)
People’s opinions are irrelevant, God’s conclusion is final.
Only cultivate the right heart.
This dimension of divine favor awaits you.
Stay blessed.
