“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” – Philippians 2:13
How often have we heard it being said;
“…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” – Zech. 4:6.
We purpose wholeheartedly to do one thing;
But in reality, we find ourselves on another course accomplishing another.
Some study courses that never contribute to their subsistence in life.
Others acquire personal effects they end up never putting to any meaningful use.
A handful of others plan and pay for trips, meals, events and a host of other countless products and services.
The story is no different where all these efforts never come to serve the intended purpose.
Have you found yourself in any situation similar to this?
Oh! Sure, you must have at some point or another in your life.
This is only human nature.
However, here is what to do.
Relax and meditate on this scripture coming your way this day.
For genuine Christians, this should not constitute breaking news.
The moment you become born again, automatic directions realignment and reordering of your path and actions by God through the Holy Spirit is a basic package freely made available to you.
The working of His good pleasure in you becomes a natural inherited order.
If it’s not God behind it, double-check yourself to be sure who is.
But then, won’t you be better off handing it all over to God, where it really isn’t Him?
Outside of Jesus, every good thing in life can be but a handbreadth by nature.
Food for thought, ain’t it?
Remain blessed.
