“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” – Romans 1:20
Mankind has no excuse for sin and this we should know ourselves.
God is not mocked because He has not left Himself without witnesses.
The created and visible things bear witness to God’s presence and supremacy.
And all of these are without excuse for the living who choose to be oblivious to them.
Humans’ comfortable preferred ignorance of these things cannot change the obvious.
Our rejection cannot avert God’s wrath for choices made or not made on the day of reckoning, whenever that is.
God’s wrath is said to be revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. (Romans 1:18)
And this is because that which may be known of God is already manifest in us from the beginning.
Have you not heard that we were made in His likeness and image?
Do you not know that the very breath we carry in us is of and from Him?
And for as many that have chosen not to retain God in their knowledge, such ones as these He handed over to vile affections and a reprobate mind, to run loose and do what ought not to be done.
Now in a season such as we are in comes a reminder of the deep love of God for us all.
What greater love can be likened to this?
That God surrendered His only begotten Son as redemption in exchange for the souls of lost and uncaring sinners.
In God’s shoes, what more would you offer to all of them who despise this great act of love of yours?
Wrath, judgment and destruction can never be misplaced as befitting responses, without apology.
Jesus Christ has paid the price for your salvation.
It is time to arise and openly embrace this truth for your own good.
Receive and welcome Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour into your life.
Now is the time and not when your day becomes night, for there is no repentance in the grave.
Listen to your heartbeat and oblige.
Remain blessed
