“I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.” – Psalm 130:5
Wait!
Patiently too.
Like rocks peacefully seated in calm waters, wait.
If it is God you claim to be waiting on, it must be this way.
Not like unto man, highly reputable for disappointment, but unto the Giver of life and the Replenisher of days.
If you think you have lost anything in the process, wait to see how His responses erase losses.
Perhaps you are fraught with thoughts of already running late in achieving your life goals; you only need to wait and see how the fabled tortoise finished the race ahead of the hare.
And even if it is evident age has caught up with you; again, wait to see how the numbers recede at the appearance of the Rock of Ages.
And all this waiting? For God alone, of course!
If He has spoken it, if you have believed it, then hinge your hope on His word and be still.
It will surely come to pass.
Stay blessed.
