“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Barring exceptions to the rule, this is universally the norm.
But even in cases of deviations, the seed of righteousness sown from childhood remains a source of conviction to the erring subject till death.
Play your part as a parent or guardian and be free of wrongdoing.
Crucial to this conversation is whether or not your ward sticks to the direction shown at maturity.
But in the end, we all are accountable to our Creator as individuals and not as groups or family units.
Beyond accountability and judgement, make the lives of kids around you better.
Do this by guiding them in the way they should go, continually.
Train up the ones you have been entrusted with by God according to the dictates of His manual, the Bible.
Make His timeless word your watchword, not the fading trends of the world around you.
And this, to what end?
That you may be absolved by posterity of any wrongdoing in the event of any deviation from entrenched values by the subject.
That their future may be brighter and your peace secure.
This, do, and be liberated.
Stay blessed.
