The Wise Build on Rocks

THE WISE HEAR AND PRACTICE AS HEARD

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” – Matthew 7:24

It is common knowledge that the stronger the foundation of a house, the more durable it should be, especially in the face of external pressure.

This is the same with humans.

To what end are the preparations put into the life of kids from a tender age that includes home training, the excellent schooling, among other life-shaping investments from many quarters?

Are these not often collectively referred to as foundations?

The more solid and intense these are, the brighter the future that waits ahead, all things being equal.

And about foundation textures, can any withstand a rock on the earth?

This is the platform upon which the Christian faith and its accompanying actions are built.

It takes the wise to walk this path, and this by hearing and putting to practice the Master’s teachings.

There is room enough for everyone to build on this rock.

Only start a block at a time by hearing and obeying God’s instructions as it applies to your daily life.

The Bible and the studying of and meditation on its content make a great habit to adopt.

After all, faith, the Christians’ building blocks, comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17)

With consistency at this, your building will soon be up for all to see.

Stay blessed.
