“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” – 2 Corinthians 4:18
Devil’s advocate?
No way and that can by no means be what is intended by this post.
But the unbelievers’ or atheists’ advocate we shall paradoxically assume for a moment.
‘Consider, is it true that the things seen, indeed all things visible, are temporal?
“Common! How can that be?”
“How about the sun, the moon, the stars and the oceans”
“Where do we place the ‘perpetual’ hills, and mountains, and all the hidden treasures therein?”
“How about the magnificent coliseums and other stunning architectural masterpieces built to endure through the ages?”
“Surely, some of these will last forever” ‘.
So does the ignorant at heart meditate and utters outwardly.
But here is some news for you, just in case you missed out on this;
The Creator of all and the One by Whom and for Whom all things were made explicitly states by Himself and by the mouth of His servants that heaven and earth shall indeed be wiped off. (Matthew 24:35; Luke 21:33; Isaiah 34:4; Revelations 6:13-14).
God’s Word never returns empty.
His messages are always for an appointed time.
Gain understanding and stop chasing after the optical illusions that constitute this world.
Go for the ‘Real Deal’.
Jesus Christ may be invisible and may sound abstract but He is real.
And so is His salvation, extended to all of humankind.
Not seen by nature and appearance, yet eternal in manifestation, is our Lord and His salvation.
He is ALL you will ever need.
Stay blessed.
