“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” – Psalm 91:1
Notice how great the confidence is for those who are citizens of nations regarded as superpowers.
Notice how swift their nations are to react in defence of their citizens when a crisis pops up.
Whether on local or foreign soil, the narrative remains the same.
The pride and peace of mind associated with any kind of affiliation to such nations is so comforting and reassuring.
Little wonder, many from less privileged nations are quick to seek asylum or residency whenever the occasion warrants.
For others, exploiting any other legal or illegal window of opportunity to jump ship is just fine.
And this is only for protection from man to man.
Now ponder that which comes from God, the Creator of all, including this man.
Consider, can any cover on the earth compare to His?
Who shall ascend the secret place of the Most High to take captive the apple of His eye, being the redeemed (Zechariah 2:8; Psalm 17:8)?
Shall the Shadow of the Almighty be overshadowed by any?
The truth is the mind of the ordinary is too constrained and distracted to comprehend any of this.
But understand this or not, accept it or not, the only true shelter that can bring you that desired peace is God’s.
The sooner you run in, the better.
