“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” – Psalm 37:5
The One you have been asked to trust here is God and not man.
He is not a man that He should lie, neither is He the son of man that He should repent of any misdeed.(Numbers 23:19)
This same God is He that answers to distress calls from the secret place of thunder when your faith is tried at the waters of Meribah (Psalm 81:7)
He it is that you have been requested to commit all your ways to.
But will your wisdom, o wise one, wiser than Daniel, permit you to do this?
Will your strength, o powerful one, mightier than Samson, allow you to succumb?
Or will your beauty, o pretty one, fairer than Queen Vashti, even let you look His way?
Can your pride be ignored, o pompous one, refined in arrogance as that great king of kings of his era, Nebuchadnezzar?
Will it as much allow you to accede to the existence of the LORD, Most High?
For all who care and dare to acknowledge and give this God a trial, you will never be disappointed.
Take Him up at His word, and of a truth, your help comes speedily.
