Father To The Fatherless And Judge For The Widows.

THE FATHERLESS DO HAVE A FATHER INDEED!

“A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.” – Psalm 68:5

Using a synecdoche, David, the mighty king and highly regarded servant of God, highlights two great acts of God’s benevolence.

These, out of an uncountable list that is past finding out.

Whichever of these categories one may belong to, our Heavenly Father is far greater in response to meet your needs.

And if none of these apply to you, then replace them with your circumstance(s).

To the fatherless, cheer up! You have a Father like no other in Him.

Is there any widow found in here? Rejoice! Here is One Who grants succour to that plight, whatsoever it is.

But even beyond the fatherless and the widows, the scenarios are endless.

The solitary, similar to the widows, get established in families of their own (verse 6).

And shall He forget the bound and oppressed? Are they not liberated as well (verse 6)?

There is hope for the poor, too, for whom His goodness has been reserved (verse 10).

However, a word of caution would suffice at this time.

And this, to all set up against this Almighty God, His own, or His tried and tested word.

His vengeance is not to be desired or evoked, for who or what can stand before it?

His enemies are scattered, haters flee, and the wicked meet their downfall in His presence (verses 1 & 2).

This ‘One for All’ God of ours is more than able to cater to all from His Holy abode, for good or for evil.

If on His wrong side, what a good time and day to make amends in this new month.

To both the righteous and the ungodly, remember always, Jesus loves you.

Happy new month.
