“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” – 1 John 4:18
The words “fear not” or indirect references to them are widely claimed to appear a whopping 365 times in the bible.
Sounds like a daily dietary supplement, doesn’t it?
Now whether that be true or otherwise matters not.
What counts the most is the One behind the spoken and written “fear not”s.
The same we have become so busy counting rather than trusting.
Understand the Almighty for who He is.
Believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, for liberation from those shackles that attract fear.
Allow for the indwelling of His Holy Spirit in you that you may be filled with all manner of perfect spiritual fruits.
And chief among these fruits is God’s perfect love.
This is that love that conquers and totally casts out fear.
Same it is that covers over our multitudes of errors before God.
Worldly love pales, wanes and dies.
God’s love glows, grows and flourishes – forever.
This, indeed, is perfect Love that must be highly sought after.
Are you still living in fear?
Be well admonished and begin your journey to liberty in Christ now.
Stay blessed.
