“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” – Philippians 4:6
Here comes an ancient secret, largely trivialized or perhaps ignorantly overlooked.
However, there is no denying how highly effective in gaining heaven’s attention for granting requests this is.
You most likely are no stranger to prayers.
And as for supplication. a variant of prayer, you perhaps also sometimes engage.
But how about thanksgiving, especially in advance of your expectations?
It does make sense to give thanks after receiving something and this most of us usually do.
Your appreciation is however required to precede the answer to your request with God.
Put a stop to that unending whining in prayers, frequently accompanied by ungrateful petitions.
Make a switch speedily to the realm of thanksgiving in anticipation of answers to your desires.
In all things, endeavour to shun anxiety.
Instead, pray, and most especially, give thanks always.
In these lie the answers to your heart’s desires.
Stay blessed.
