Life is a battle.
Life is a contest.
So is everything else in it and about it.
Name an instance, a situation at all, and it won’t take long to accede to this fact.
Even as an individual, there is a constant battle within.
And this frequently occurs in a ping-pong fashion between the flesh and the spirit.
With a contest, strength is required and with battle, come attacks and defences.
If you must get through life successfully, you must be able to secure a stable supply of these from an omniscient source.
And there is indeed only one of such – God Almighty.
God is not only Omniscient, but Omnipotent and Omnipresent.
Who else can make a better source of strength and shield for the interested other than this Supreme One?
Like King David and many others, the choice on this side has since been made.
