“Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;” – 2 Corinthians 4:9
Who are you?
With borrowed words from Lecrae’s Identity (gospel rap), I challenge you with these answers.
– The shoes you wear?
– The clothes you buy?
– The house you live in?
– The car you drive?
– The work of your hands?
Or is it anything else you never entered this world with?
Who exactly do you KNOW you are?
We sometimes say it.
Some go about with that consciousness but in the face of changing circumstances, forget and get sucked in.
The one inside is the real you. That priceless treasure housed in this earthen vessel sure to someday fade away with everything it owns.
Then will this one be revealed and called to render account.
No matter the amount of trouble, perplexity, persecution or suppression, you are indestructible.
Oh! How ignorant and powerless are all them that maliciously emancipate souls from these vessels? The One Who created is the only One Who can destroy us.
You are that untouchable gem inside.
Rise up above the flesh and environment around you and walk in the realm reserved for you.
God holds your answers to everything.
Stay blessed.
