Sound the trumpets of triumph!
The new year is finally here.
And with it has come the usual celebrations plus other rituals.
However, a critical aspect of the year change not to be easily brushed aside is the setting of resolutions.
This, usually, is aimed at making us better as individuals in the new year.
They are also intended to help us make better decisions and actions.
While the making of resolutions may be purely personal and individualistic, we must keep one thing in mind.
And this is the fact that as humans we own nothing in the first place.
We do not exist in a vacuum, leaving us with little or no control over outcomes beyond our choices.
We do not even own ourselves, consequently placing our fate in the Hands of the One Who owns all.
As you embark on your planning process, be mindful to keep the Creator of all informed from this onset.
Your targets are nothing without the backing of the God that pulls all the strings in the universe.
While the plans may be yours to make, the steps and outcomes are ultimately His to affirm.
Start well by starting right, and that, with God.
