“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:” – 1 Peter 1:8
What a blind trust.
Such level of gullibility.
Perhaps for this reason we are counted foolish by the world.
Perhaps for our belief in the ‘mere’ stories we have heard and read, we are considered stupid.
But hold on a minute;
For all with us on this journey, they know nothing yet, nor have they seen the end of it.
We have not only believed upon Him, that is Jesus Christ, but also love Him.
And who is it that is truly foolish?
Who is that one to be counted stupid indeed?
He or she it is whose laughter fades out and anguish is multiplied in the end when “Elvis has left the building” of life for good.
Better a fool for Christ in this lifetime than live eternity a fool in grief.
Better the risk of believing and loving in spite of having not seen than dwell in doubt unto damnation.
What side of this divide will you rather be found?
Stay blessed
