“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” – John 3:16
You don’t believe in Jesus but find the symbol of the cross a nice piece of jewellery to adorn your neck.
You don’t trust Him but you can’t take Him off the bottom of your list of alternatives.
In fact, He remains your ‘plan z’ when the tides turn sour.
You can’t have Him publicly for concerns about your social standing yet you can’t help blurting out His name when caught up between the devil and the deep blue sea.
Now, who is fooling who?
God’s condition for salvation was set long before you and I were born and will remain intact after we are long gone, just like those before us.
Our acceptance or otherwise cannot alter the plan of the One that was I AM yesterday, is I AM today and remains the I AM tomorrow.
The ultimate sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, is for our benefit and not a subject for deliberation, contemplation or negotiation.
If life in the hereafter ever means a thing to you, here is what to do. John 3:16 holds your ticket.
Believe in His Son!
Believe in Jesus!
Remain blessed.
