“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” – Romans 8:1
It has long been established for us humans, the existence of the spirit and the flesh.
And with this comes two categories of people – the spirit-minded and the flesh-inclined or carnally minded.
With God, the former tends to life and peace while the latter is a playground of death and condemnation (Romans 8:6-8).
In place of condemnation is an eternal life of bliss for any found in Christ Jesus.
If the son sets you free, you will be free indeed, says Jesus (John 8:36).
So, where is the place for condemnation in that?
The substance of this day’s message is just as sweet as the song made of it by Don Moen, for those it applies to.
However, on the flip side, the consequence is damning.
Brothers and sisters, we don’t have to attend a funeral to get sober to the realities of life.
Nor do we have to await the attendance of ours for us to get real with Christ.
Of course, at that point, it’s become rather too late.
The dead know nothing and are said to have no portion with the living any longer (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6).
Plant yourself in Him now amidst the noise and distractions the world freely offers you.
It is in your hands and your best interest to make your case different.
