“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” – 1 Corinthians 14:33
An author of confusion? How?
He has never been and will never be!
In fact, He lacks in totality the capacity to be such in any way.
For when we seek an epitome of orderliness, God Almighty sits supreme at the peak of this.
All through the scriptures, from the Old to the New Testament era, we find an astonishing level of organization concerning God’s mode of operation.
Precept upon precept and line upon line are His laws, statutes, ordinances, commandments and word in general.
In similar fashion are all His works, acts, signs and wonder orchestrated since the beginning of time.
That the discerning and wise at heart may see, and know, and consider, and understand altogether the One behind these.
The context of today’s scripture, as seen in the preceding verses, may appear to revolve around speaking in tongues.
However, the message is an actual projection of the content of the Character, being the Alpha and the Omega.
With Him resides the peace that passes all understanding.
From Him came the heavenly acclaimed and world-renowned Prince of Peace, even Jesus Christ, our Lord.
The same is the Head of all the Churches of the Saints.
So when next you encounter an abode of chaos and confusion, consider, “Can this be of God?”.
Now that you know better, proceed to make your informed guess, and align accordingly.
Remain blessed.
