“But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.” – 2 Thessalonians 3:3
What is God’s business?
Perhaps only Him alone can answer this accurately.
But has He not all through the pages of His scriptures made this known to us?
If He gave His only Begotten Son in our stead, was this for a dearth of livestock on the earth?
Not so, we all know for sure.
What then can we say is God’s business or what can we liken it to?
This just has to be ensuring the well-being of His entire creation and works.
And exceptional among all of His entire creation and works is the human race.
It is the Lord’s business to see to our salvation, safety and protection from all evil.
The question here is how much of this can our faith take?
To keep you from evil, your consent is a prerequisite, God’s benevolence overriding.
To establish you, first in the faith, and next in all other areas of life, your cooperation is needed.
Can two walk together, except they are in agreement? (Amos 3:3)
Every day is God’s day but the day we become ready for Him, is our day, as popularly echoed.
Our Heavenly Father is already faithful and will continue to be.
