“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20
I live!
Yet not I but He that was crucified it is that lives in me.
Through faith in Him, I live and He lives in me also.
And who is this “He”, outsiders may wonder?
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is His name.
This is our confession.
Indeed, the confession of every true Christian washed by His blood and established in the faith.
Together, we have been crucified with Christ as we kissed our old ways and nature goodbye.
Now we are seen in the flesh but not us they see.
At work behind the scenes is the faith of this Son of God that upholds us.
His love for us, manifested in His priceless sacrifice on the cross of Calvary, binds and sustains us.
If you find yourself lost between these lines, then the next is addressed to you.
How about you and where do you stand?
Until this becomes you, know for sure that you are walking a path of uncertainty.
You need to embrace the fullness of God’s love made available in Christ Jesus while you can.
Wait no further.
Rather, proceed to make that switch today.
Stay blessed.
