I Am Good, And That Is My Choice To Make.

I AM GOOD, AND THAT IS MY CHOICE TO MAKE

13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?” – Matthew 20:13-15 (KJV)

Freewill, oh, freewill! How powerful a will so free?

Birthed, for humans, at the very instant of the creation of the human race;

Yet, as ancient in existence as the Ancient of Days Himself.

Or was it not so affirmed to us in the Holy Book?

How that the Almighty Creator called for man to be made in the likeness and image of the godly beings.

Having now inherited the very nature of our Maker, shall it be unlawful to deal according to your own free will?

By choice and free will, this protagonist exercised his lawful right over his lot, as deemed fit.

Play the blame game if you so choose; however, hear His Maker speak before even he was brought forth –

“I …… will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy” – Exodus 33:19.

If God be gracious by a will so free, and I be so likewise, then where lies the ill?

If God be merciful by a will so compassionate, and you, His handiwork, replicates the same, where lies your wrongdoing?

Will you count me or anyone else as evil because I am good, in the least, to one among a thousand?

How much more when actions are fortified and reinforced by an agreement.

But of such is the nature of humans, casting aside accords for the want of more.

However, in this context, and as taught by Master Jesus, that posture of discontentment, post-assent, is flawed.

An agreement is an agreement, as much as freewill is freewill, over what is rightfully yours.

Shun contempt in your dealings, embrace contentment, and be righteous.

This perspective, among any other, this day, suffices.

Remain blessed.
