“22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23
Not a “carrot and stick” principle as some may perceive this to be but a reflection of the true level of aspiration every professed child of God should strive to attain.
Having one of these fruits is good but not good enough.
Possessing more than one is better but not ideal.
Being blessed with and manifesting all as a way of life is the ultimate for any Christian.
This sums up the character we have been called to become in Christ Jesus.
This is perfection.
Against the one that reflects and walks in all of these fruits of the Spirit, no law can convict.
Attaining this height is only by God’s grace, not by our frail abilities.
The more you seek Him in truth and spirit, the more of this you become.
Now is a good time to start.
Stay blessed.
