“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” – Jeremiah 33:3
The secret things of the entire creation belong to the LORD our God;
But the things He has chosen to reveal belong to us and to our children forever. (Deuteronomy 29:29)
It is a general rule in life to table a request to the owner of any property we may desire to gain access to.
This, a usual necessary step, before any contact can be established with such material, tangible or intangible.
Anything outside of this may be counted as theft, abuse or a breach.
Pretty much so it is with God.
Especially when it comes to accessing those things He has so graciously kept away from us.
Great and mighty they can be, and accessible only by a privileged few.
And these are those who care to lift up their voice in search of Him.
With humans, you may forcefully or deceitfully acquire that which is not yours
But not so with God. No! Not a chance.
For confirmation, ask the Israelites and Moses why it took forty years to complete a journey of forty days.
When God hides it, no one can find it.
But you sure can if you are humble and obedient enough to ask.
Jesus confirmed further by saying, “Ask..”, “Seek..”, “Knock..”. (Matthew 7:7)
