“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” – 1 John 4:11
To whom much is given, shall much not be required?
In whom much love has been invested shall the same not be expected to be reciprocated?
Is it for nothing that our Heavenly Father blesses us night and day with all manners of good gifts?
Top among these is His unfailing love for all.
Here is one to ponder that you may have heard a million times before;
And if peradventure you haven’t, then be excused this day and afterwards no more;
You are blessed to be a blessing to others!
Blessings are not conferred by the Almighty to make you a principality to your fellow beings.
And of oppressors formed by status change, is the world now empty of these that you must add to their numbers?
No, not a pinchpenny, nor any other godless character devoid of love either.
Far be it from you to be found lightly yoked among any of these.
If God’s got His signature on your blessings, then love for your kindred should be paramount to you.
If God so loved us our shortcomings notwithstanding, then the onus is upon us to reciprocate the same to our kind.
In a world sold out to coldness and darkness, choose to be that light on a hill that constantly beams with hope.
Now with that refreshed mindset to do right, start acting by reaching out in love to those around you.
