“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.” – 1 Peter 3:12
As a shepherd would over his flock, so the Lord diligently watches over those that live for Him.
Meditating over popular scriptures like Psalms 23 and 121 of the Holy Bible gives clearer insight into this.
With this comes a soothing level of comfort as well.
On the flip side, delving further into the holy book, Hebrews 10:31 affirms that, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God”.
Don’t mistake God’s silence in the face of evil for weakness.
No! Not even ignorance or consent.
Likewise, never conclude on His stillness towards your righteousness as being forgetfulness.
Never! Not even incapacity or thoughtlessness.
Rather, in patience and understanding, draw inspiration from admonitions such as today’s scripture.
God will always be God – I AM THAT I AM, the unchanging God.
The eyes of the Lord see all and take in all, including all that pertains to you.
The righteous, He observes and set apart for His goodness, and the corrupt, for His ire.
The question is what side of the divide do you belong?
The best choice is to stand on His side, always.
Remain blessed.
