“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.” – Colossians 3:13
Don’t be caught off guard.
The departed would know better how costly ignorance of this instruction can be.
For all the good any human can do or be, this single one can render it all meaningless.
The unforgiving, according to scriptures, risk condemnation to perdition (Matt. 6:14-15).
Get angry but don’t stay angry.
Make room for forgiveness on the go and go easy on your offenders, that it may be well with you.
Better it is to make light of any issue in life than to be lighted up in hell over life’s issues.
Forbearing is not a sign of weakness but a product of spiritual maturity.
Forgiving does not connote stupidity but sheer exhibition of divine wisdom.
Together they make for identifiers of genuine disciples of Christ.
Stay unentangled, let go with ease, that it may go well with your soul.
Remain blessed.
