“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” – Psalm 139:14
Do you truly know, deep down in your soul, what stuff you are made of?
Brick and mortar are solid.
Steel – something intriguing out of the comic books.
But more beautiful, wonderful and fearful than these is that you’ve been hewn from.
Shall we talk about the features of the physical human components whose natural force requires an entire lifetime to fully abate?
For most, they often outlive the carriers.
Or how do you explain the harvesting of human parts from the dead for transplant to the living?
How about the ways of the abstract heart of humans decipherable only by the Creator?
Admire all of nature and the wildlife therein for all you care.
Gather, keep and adore all the pet life your affection and resources can accommodate.
But make no mistake about this, the intricate complexities of human composition are matchless compared to them all.
“Fearfully and wonderfully made” can only be a partial description of the great work God has wrought in us.
And clear evidence of this is His decision to grant us dominion over all His works.
So, don’t go about running on empty confessions devoid of substantial self-consciousness.
Be aware of who you are in Christ and give God the praise for this.
With Him, we can do all things (Philippians 4:13; Acts 17:28).
Without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
Unlock that full potential of yours by aligning yourself with Jesus Christ today.
Stay blessed.
