“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” – Isaiah 41:10
Leave no room for fear, so says the Lord.
Rather, let your confidence be built in God.
We have been called from the ends of the earth to be His servant.
This, the preceding verse of the same chapter, makes us understand.
The inability or unwillingness of the majority to be just this is what exposes us to unfavourable situations.
Guilt feeds fear but righteousness reinforces confidence.
The guilt of disobedience and sin drives us away from God and opens the door to fear.
But the righteousness that stems from obedience and active service to the Lord makes us courageous.
Before you this day lies both extremes, therefore, make your choice.
However, in choosing, keep in mind that God’s choice for you is unwavering courage.
Stay strong and stay connected.
Fear not!
Stay blessed.
