“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” – Ephesians 4:32
The world is full of wickedness but that is only a choice.
This is a scripturally backed and well-established saying (1 John 5:19) with concrete proofs in the now.
Like every other decision made on the go by the minute or premeditated, the choice to be wicked or kindhearted lies in the hands of individuals.
Even when groups, organizations or nations exhibit atrocious behaviours, one or more individuals lie at the core of such acts.
And the question yearning for an answer here is “why?”.
This pattern might be excusable for the children of darkness, but not so for the children of Light.
Where lies the Christ in the purported Christian without the defining acts of Christ Jesus?
Why claim to and have a form of godliness, yet deny the power thereof? (2 Timothy 3:5)
As a child of the Light, you are admonished to tow the path of compassion in your dealings with others.
Shun the evil, wicked and corrupt acts wherein await wanton eternal destruction in the end.
Embrace kindness, tenderheartedness and forgiveness with promises of great gains unto eternity.
Even as God has been to you in singling you out for His mercy, compassion, salvation and favours, so must you do to others.
For anyone with any regard for God, this is the way to go.
Now is the time to do to others as Jesus has done and continues to do to you.
Now is that moment to start reflecting likewise.
