Dead To Sins.

DEAD TO SINS, BUT, ALIVE IN CHRIST

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” – 1 Peter 2:24

By His stripes, we are healed.

How simple these words sound!

However, the message conveyed is a mystery too deep for any mortal to comprehend fully.

The least expected of us first is to lay aside all doubts.

Next, we must commit our faith unshakably and wholeheartedly towards understanding and embracing this.

This same approach was adopted by the ancients we so often talk about today.

The same binds the saved in the body of Christ.

Being “dead to sins” is the natural estate of every human born of a woman.

But thank God for the Lamb Who was slain and now offers to us life unto righteousness.

He, it is, Who bore our sins in His own body on the tree.

By His stripes, we are healed and delivered from the clutches of death, the grave and eternal damnation.

Armed with this truth, the question we must ask ourselves, like the Jews and Gentiles of yore, is “Men and brethren, what shall we do? (Acts 2:37)

To all the unsaved in Christ, the answer remains unchanged.

Repent from your sinful ways, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

Captured in spiritual yet common parlance, be born again.

Then you become reconciled to the Father through your belief in the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Then, the doors to the realms of unending and unexplainable miracles are flung wide open to you.

There exists no better solution anywhere in the entire universe than this.

Stay blessed.
