“Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:4
About one good turn deserving another, this speaks.
To all them that have tasted and seen the goodness of the Lord, this comes.
Once you were in tribulation, but now you flourish in triumph.
Of troubles, sorrows and turmoils, you may have had your fair share;
But run a quick self-diagnosis and confirm, is this still the situation with you today?
Surely, by the comfort of this most compassionate God, you now thrive.
Indeed, if this is truly you, then it’s payback time.
As freely and as much as you have received, do likewise unto others.
Not as that worldly idiom demands, like unto one good turn deserving another, which in any case stands;
But here established is this one, as a biblical admonition worthy of emulation.
Now being a carrier of the Spirit of the Lord, you are empowered to “comfort all that mourn”, proclaiming God’s long overdue time of acceptance (Isaiah 61:1-3).
Therefore, keep this circle of comfort and love alive by reaching out to those in need of such.
Then shall your sown seeds speak in your favour, in leaps and bounds.
Faithful is He that has you; the same One will perfect all that concerns you without fail (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
