“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” – Deuteronomy 6:5
One of two things is certain about today’s admonition.
At some point in our lives, we will likely have to yield to this commandment.
This, depending on God’s grace in our lives.
Otherwise, we may regret not doing so at the end of our lives.
Ending up the way of the former sees us saved, while finishing the way of the latter spells doom.
Now it’s over to you to make that choice.
You can either wait to see which of these classes destiny will group you into, come the final whistle.
Or, be decisive, and make that effort on your own to decide your fate while you actually can.
Give unto God what is requested and due to God.
With “all thine heart” and entire being, this God, you must love, in word and in deed.
This, the Law and the Prophets demand, and Jesus affirms (Matthew 22:36-40).
