“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” – 3 John 2
To all readers and nonreaders of this post, this is a genuine prayer for you today.
That above all things, you indeed prosper and thrive in good health, always.
That the works of your hands be met with befitting rewards.
Your soul, equally, be blessed enough to experience salvation and escape eternal condemnation.
All of these, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
Modelled after the desire of that great Apostle of Jesus Christ is this one.
In his writings, Apostle Paul wished for the all-round prosperity of the flock of Christ.
By so doing, he re-echoed the desire of our Heavenly Father, as well as our Lord Jesus Christ.
Health and prosperity wishes are synonymous with birthday occasions.
But we do not have to wait for such events to extend this to one another.
Don’t be a cynic crab, seeking to pull down the prosperous ones around you.
Celebrate and rejoice, rather than resist the good success of others.
Make it a duty to always seek the well-being of everyone, in body, soul and spirit.
And so shall it be well with you also.
Now that you have heard, go forth and practice.
Stay blessed.
