“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” – John 15:7
The big “IF” here powered by connectivity holds the key to a life of fulfilment.
Wishes will never be horses for anyone to ride on.
However, with Christ, they can be aeroplanes to cruise on, even to unending triumph, by anyone interested.
The required condition is all that needs to be met to make this a reality.
And this condition?
Connectivity!
“Abide in me”, says Jesus, “and allow my words, an embodiment of my personality and being, to abide in you”. (Paraphrased).
Until this happens, wishful thinking and daydreaming remain the lot of the non-compliant.
The obedient continue to experience boundary lines falling in pleasant places as they enjoy their delightful inheritance.
They ask what they desire and the Master is always open to granting such in line with His will and purpose.
Understand that this must be two-way all the way.
Until you have tried this in grace and patience and failed, you have no course for disagreement or discontentment.
But the truth is Jesus never fails!
Humans do!
Stop whining and muster that effort to try now.
