He was not the first to set an example in exemplary service to mankind.
Other greats like Abraham, Moses and David walked the earth before He came.
Yet, Jesus lifted a standard comparable to none before and after Him.
The One who owns all but was largely unknown to all He owns in person, He was.
For even among the inanimate was found a fig tree that opted for barrenness rather than fruitfulness before its Maker.
He yielded His life, an atonement for our sins, on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for all humankind.
With Jesus, it is an unending banquet, with an open ticket for all who care to grab their portion.
His offer will only expire at the end of an individual’s lifetime or at His second coming, whichever comes first.
Both, scenarios you don’t want to get caught off guard while playing hard to get.
A ransom for many in One Life so great is too many one sacrifice you must not take for granted.
In compliance, what must you now do, if not already a member of His sheepfold?
Be submissive and surrender your life to Jesus Christ for safekeeping.
