“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” – Psalm 51:10
Put on a cloak of humility and offer this plea to the loving God that earnestly awaits your return night and day.
You can run for all you care but definitely cannot hide away from Him.
Go up to the heavens or make your bed in the depths;
He will be right there waiting for you.
Rise, if you can, on the wings of the dawn or settle on the far side of the sea;
Even there God’s Hand will await to guide you and hold you fast (Psalm 139:8-10)
The truth is your heart has always been His target.
The bull’s eye must be made available for His hit to make this reconciliation complete.
You must understand that He lent to you all that you have in your possession.
Look what manner of coins you have repaid Him with for this level of compassion!
Reciprocate His kindness by accepting His olive branch of reconciliation constantly outstretched towards you.
Place your demand for a clean heart and a renewed spirit from Him.
Be mindful that the Creditor will surely come knocking on your door someday.
Be prepared and live ready to meet with Him while the power is still in your hands.
