“That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” – John 1:9
And come He did, into His property and to His people.
All, made by Him, without Whom nothing can be counted as created.
Yet He was largely unknown and unaccepted.
Sadly, centuries later, a great multitude still struggles with accepting Him as the Master and Owner of all.
Does this ring a bell yet? Or quite cliche, it is beginning to sound.
Well, it does pretty much sum up the entire gospel, scripture and the truth therein.
For in ceaseless repetitions and reminders, and from various channels, God’s word of hope is dispersed, spread abroad and reinforced.
And about this truth, it has one face only with undeniable features called proofs.
Denying, doubting or ignoring what is cannot change what has been or will be.
It can only be discovered someday.
Take it or leave it, Jesus Christ is the True Light that lights up the entire creation.
For the genuinely interested, the hungry, the thirsty, the preceding verses of today’s scripture shed more light like no other (John 1:1-8).
Accept Him today or wait to discover another day.
Here is one more cry too many gone out already.
Now it is time to heed the call.
