“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
From the day a child is born, it becomes an automatic candidate for exposure to every issue this world has to offer, good or bad.
It takes the close watch of parents or guardians, and of course, the mighty arm of God, to guarantee survival.
As adulthood begins to beckon, he or she outgrows parental surveillance and assumes responsibility for decisions and actions.
This, inadvertently, opens up the door to susceptibility to the real dangers out there.
Then the need for another level of protection arises, and we turn to various sources for such.
Indeed, the path to peace and protection may seem few.
However, the question is how reliable and durable is your chosen fortress?
There is a tested and trusted One among a thousand, even among them all.
This One has not only overcome the world, but made and owns ALL in the first place.
In this One, that long lost or long sought after peace of yours lives, well and secure.
And Who is this One?
Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the One, and the Only.
In Him alone lies that footpath that cannot slip and that Hand that never fails.
Therefore, be of good cheer, dearly beloved, as you make Him your wall of defense today and forevermore.
