“I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.” – Psalm 119:93
God’s word in any form is all we need to get by in life.
Think about it this way – appliances are rolled out of a factory line from time to time, be it household electronics, mobile devices, PCs, and the like.
For optimal performance, users of these must refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for guidance.
More often than not, the longest serving appliances are those that have been utilized strictly based on factory instructions.
These are appropriately used, serviced when due, rested when required, among other recommended routines.
Move over to the camp of humans and it becomes mind-boggling how our expectations play out.
We expect to live life to the fullest ignoring God’s natural principle of dependence and interdependence.
Dependence – upon our Creator as our Key Source of subsistence, and this, by His precepts.
Interdependence – upon one another as humans cum neighbours, as alluded by Jesus.
To any arrayed against this truth, has God now created a universe where He will not be needed?
Has He fashioned man, male and female like He made them (Genesis 1:27), to be an island to himself?
We find it okay to lick the human fingers that feeds us, but hardly bat an eyelid at biting the Divine Hand that nurtures us.
Sit and ponder, isn’t it time for a change?
If you are set , then here lies the path to a better life before you today.
Keep God’s instructions handy at heart and never forget to abide by them diligently (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
Life can only get fuller by doing this, and eternal life is made sure as an add-on of inestimable value.
Remain blessed.
