“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” – John 13:34
Ours is a message of love and not condemnation.
Judgement, like vengeance, belongs to God.
He alone sees and knows all hearts and intentions.
But Christ came to shed His love abroad.
This, so we may be reconciled to the Father in repentance and acceptance of this love.
For this reason, we are called Christians.
Even we all bound by this new commandment.
Under this one, we have since transited the realm of choice into compulsion.
We have been mandated to comply not by election but as a non-negotiable necessity.
Therefore, our love for one another must be as contrasting as night and day.
Like our God, daily beholding all our excesses, yet lovingly condoning us without prejudice, so must we one another.
Let your love for all be seen by all.
That all may know you are a true disciple of Christ, if indeed you are.
And if not one, then what’s holding you back?
The ball is in your court, now you decide.
Remain blessed.
