“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” – Galatians 6:7
The scripture says, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked”.
How can the unchanging God whose name is “I AM” be ever affected by your shifting stance?
Is He now like the wind-adjusted dunes of the desert that are ever-changing in patterns?
Will your modified scales increase or decrease His stature?
Will your perforated measures alter this ‘once for all-time’ Perfect God to fit within their frames?
Your righteousness or unrighteousness is for your good or otherwise, whichever suits you.
In the same vein, your obedience or disobedience to God’s commandments is for a day of reckoning.
What has this God got to do with you, anyway?
He speaks and the entire creation indeed catches His breath, evolving in pursuit of what He says.
We, humans, bear no mark of exemption beyond the gift of free will He has so lovingly provided us with.
Why abuse this gift in defiance of His instructions?
In all you do keep in mind that the law of seedtime and harvest (Genesis 8:22) applies to all.
You will always reap what you sow.
Sow enduring obedience and reap life eternal for your good.
This, surely, is the right way to go.
