“Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” – Ezekiel 37:9
“Thus saith the Lord”, is a well-known phrase scattered across the bible.
By this, the instructions from God issued at the mouth of His appointed prophets are distinguished.
They come in diverse natures and forms, usually delivered through dreams, visions or other divine encounters.
But the most striking thing about this phrase is the immutability that accompanies it.
For where there exists a “Thus saith the Lord”, then not too far off must exist a sure performance of what is said.
A dearth of supporting action can only be imminent where such has come at the mouth of a false prophet.
And how does this apply to you, you may begin to wonder.
It is written, “And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch”. (Mark 13:37)
It is also written, “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation”. (2 Peter 1:20)
To those that are famished with bones dried up from all manners of affliction and torment, and hope seemingly lost;
To you, just like the Israelites of old, this is sent.
For this same reason, Jesus died to bring you hope and restoration.
All, still in line with this grand prophecy issued long before His physical appearance and exploits on the earth.
Now having played His part in ensuring a performance of the spoken prophecy, the ball is passed to your court.
The question is what are you doing or have you decided to do with it?
Your faith, evidenced by your total belief and surrender to Christ, is all that is required.
Then shall that lost hope of yours be restored according to His divine plan and timing.
Then shall you be delivered from that grave of burden as God causes you to come up out of it, finally.
And He shall bring you into His prepared place of promise, in line with scriptural prophecies.
Indeed, now, the choice is yours to make.
Tarry no longer.
Remain blessed.
