By toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash the teeth are kept clean.
In climes such as Africa chewing stick is an archaic handy tool for the same purpose.
Then comes that routine dental procedure termed “Scaling and Polishing” for the removal of tougher foreign bodies.
However, who would have imagined there exist yet another very effective way of achieving cleanness of teeth outside of these.
Quite unconventional and not one to be desired by anyone is this particular one.
And its source is rooted and patented in the realm of divinity.
God Almighty is the custodian of this ancient procedure with an efficacy comparable to none.
While the sinful oppressors of that time were the target audience of this message, the learnings apply to this day.
By want of bread, an euphemism for famine, hunger and starvation, God ensures the teeth of oppressors are kept clean.
By a sore judgment of this kind, the opulence of the classy “kine (cows) of Bashan” are rendered worthless.
For them that fall within this bracket He offers a glee of hope and escape.
Return now to the Sovereign God of the whole universe in humility and repentance, and be restored.
To everyone else, desist from oppression of the poor, lest your teeth be made whiter than snow by their Defender.
To the wise at heart, this word in season is sufficient.
