Iron Sharpens Iron.

IRON SHARPENETH IRON! BEYOND A MERE ADAGE

“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” – Proverbs 27:17

Many are the surfaces upon which iron may be sharpened or blunted.

However, when iron meets iron for good, there can only be victors and no victims.

Iron sharpeneth iron in preparation for opportunities presented in tree felling.

In the real world, the company you keep determines what accompanies you.

Here, two outcomes can be expected.

Good success induced at the edge of a sharpened axe, on one hand;

Or frustration stemming from dullness that wears both the body and soul, on the other.

Wisdom is always profitable to direct in the latter case.

The wise thing to do from this point is a qualitative review of your associations for your own good.

Can you boast of a relationship with anyone driven by qualitative values?

Beyond profanity and vanity, can you point to a friendship built on sanity and sanctity?

Stay sharp by keeping the right company and not necessarily like-minded fellows.

Birds of a feather don’t have to flock together if the company ain’t right.

Apply sound judgement and become the better for it.

Better still, look out always for the interest of others.

This is true religion.

Remain blessed.
