No matter the niche you operate in, there sure is a cliche attached to buttress this subject.
Lifesaver finds a suitable cover in that white coat of contemporary physicians;
With the firefighters, that precious helmet of heroes is found;
Nobility chose a safe haven in teachers before we knew our left from the right;
Is there any as learned as the lawyers and judges on the face of the earth?
With the upright among these ones, the scales of justice are balanced out for the oppressed and aggrieved.
And arguably, who is as close to God in their occupation as the Cleaners?
Cleanliness is next to godliness, we have heard.
Irrespective of your call or status, as a gifted creature of the King of kings, you are admonished to go forth and manifest your talents in good works, thereby glorifying God.
A goldfish has no hiding place, and so is the city that is set on an hill that cannot be hidden.
This city is that special one called YOU!
Keep that light shining in the abundance of God’s grace as you begin to show the world what stuff you are really made of.
For those still on the outside, there is no better place to be than on the inside with Jesus.
Here, and with Him, your light only shines brighter and brighter to that perfect day.
