“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” – 1 Peter 1:3
Freewill, or its appearance thereof, as given to man by God, is such a powerful endowment.
Only its possessor can harness the potential therein to the fullest.
Even the Giver of this awesome gift, the Lord God Almighty, holds it in such high esteem;
As to restrain Himself from interfering in anyone’s decisions beyond providing direction and guidance, mostly when sought.
Occasionally, He may bend the rule by a planned intervention.
In such circumstances, to induce favour from one individual to another, usually for His beloved.
Similarly, by His abundant mercy, He has found it fit to redirect our path from destruction to salvation.
God has accomplished this by the resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ, from the dead.
Very strong are the decisions we make under this umbrella of freewill.
Little wonder we are asked to work out our salvation with fear and trembling based on this premise (Phil. 2:12-13).
And why?
In justification of this show of love and mercy by God to direct us into His fold through His only begotten Son.
Now be attentive – this remains an open banquet for all who care to embrace this truth.
The major concern here is are you ready?
