“ He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed” – Proverbs 13:20
Choose your companions wisely.
It may not be a problem to have been born ordinary but it could be one to remain so.
To degenerate to less is even worse.
The world we live in requires wisdom to survive and variants of this abound.
That which you opt for will determine how well you fare in the end.
Is that African proverb not right in its context that states thus – “Show me your friend and I will show you your character“?
Make friends with wise characters.
Associate yourself with gatherings of such like minds.
Let the abode of wise men be your delight and not the gathering of fools.
In doing so, they rub off on you for good as you become like one of them – wise too.
Do contrary and the cradle of folly may become your canopy.
It is considerably wise to walk with the wise.
Therefore, choose your associates wisely.
There’s too much to lose on the other side.
Stay blessed.
